The Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Antonio provide housing for the families of critically-ill and seriously injured children while they are getting medical treatment. Our goal is to provide an evening meal every night for the families who stay at our Houses.

Our houses served over 2,000 families in 2018.  Evening meals were provided by volunteers approximately 1 to 2 nights per week. Recently, we opened our fourth house and now have 77 rooms to provide housing for families.  To provide an evening meal for every family staying at one House costs approximately $150 per night. That is 1,460 meals needed every year to feed families in all 4 houses.  The estimated cost of providing evening meals for a whole year would be $219,000 ($150 x 4 x 365).
